In Episode III, we had a conversation with Matineh Eybpoosh. Matineh completed her Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon University and began her journey in the CleanTech/energy sector as the Director of Data Science at Kwantera in 2017. She co-founded her first startup, WattLearn, and later moved to the Bay Area. WattLearn was acquired in 2021. Matineeh is now the Co-Founder and CEO of Powerline, which provides AI solutions for battery management in the power market.We discussed her unique insights into the energy sector, particularly the growing demand for energy driven by increased computing needs, as well as her experiences as a founder working in both the Midwest and the Bay Area.

In Conversation with Siri Pioneer, Siamak Hodjat

In this episode, we have an incredible conversation with Siamak Hodjat, a pioneer in the AI assistance ecosystem. Siamak graduated from Sharif University in computer science and earned a master’s from Amir Kabir University. He joined Dejima in 1999, co-founded by his brother Babak Hodjat, and was part of the team that created Siri with Adam Cheyer. Siri was later acquired by Apple during the Steve Jobs era. Siamak also contributed to Viv Labs, the AI assistant for Samsung, and co-founded Game Planner, which was acquired by Airbnb.  Now, he is the Director of AI Experience at Airbnb. We discuss his insights into AI and his experiences with these major acquisitions.

Mastering the Startup Exit with Touraj Parang, COO of Serve Robotics

Touraj graduated from Stanford in economics and philosophy, earned his JD from Yale Law School, and started his career at a top Silicon Valley law firm. He then moved into venture capital with Early Bird Firm and Amidzad. Touraj's entrepreneurial journey included founding Jaxtr and Webs, which was later acquired. He joined GoDaddy as VP of Corporate Development, staying until 2014. Currently, he is the President, COO, and Board Member of Serve Robotics, an autonomous delivery company that recently went public. Touraj is also the author of *Exit Path*, and in this episode, we discuss his views on exits and acquisitions, along with insights into Serve Robotics.

در این مینی سریال که با همکاری پِر پرشین فاندر سیرکل از پِر وی-سی ایجاد شده است، ما با کارآفرینان ایرانی در ارتباط  هستیم تا بینشی در مورد دامنه و تجربیات آنها در گروه اول آن بدست آوریم.
در قسمت دوم، با امیرعلی مهاجر گفتگو کردیم. امیرعلی مدرک کارشناسی خود را در رشته بازرگانی از دانشگاه بریتیش کلمبیا اخذ کرده است. امیر علی سپس در جاهای مختلف دنیا از جمله لندن , تهران و آسیای شرقی تجربه کار در زمینه ی تکنولوژی  را دارد. امیر علی در ایران به عنوان مدیر گروه استپ تریپ فعال بوده و تجربه ی بسیار خوبی در مورد صنعت گردشگردی دارد او الان در سانفریسکو است و روی استارتاپ گردشگری خودش مشغول به کاره.
 
In Episode II, we had a conversation with Amirali Mohajer. Amirali completed his undergraduate degree in Commerce at the University of British Columbia. He then moved to Dubai to work for Deloitte, where he spent three years before relocating to London while continuing his work with Deloitte for an additional six years. Afterward, he returned to Iran and joined one of Rocket Internet's ventures, Snapptrip, as the Managing Director. After two years, he remained in the travel industry but moved to Thailand to join Agoda, which is part of Booking.com, as the Head of Product. Subsequently, he moved to the Bay Area and founded a startup called hostAI. We discussed his perspectives on the online travel industry, specifically in the context of post-Generative AI developments.

در این قسمت با امیر کاوسیان به گفت و گو نشستیم. امیر دوره کارشناسی خود را در رشته مهندسی عمران در دانشگاه "صنعتی شریف" به پایان رساند و سپس برای کارشناسی ارشد و دکترا به دانشگاه "استنفورد" رفت. او قبل از تأسیس یک شرکت امنیت سایبری که بعداً توسط  "کوین لیست" خریداری شد، کار خود را به عنوان "دیتا ساینتیست" آغاز کرد. امیر همچنین یک سرمایه گذار فعال در "بِی اِریا" است و در حال حاضر روی استارتاپ دوم خود کار می کند. ما دیدگاه‌های او را در مورد امنیت و هوش مصنوعی و همچنین فرآیند کسب مورد بحث قرار دادیم.

He began his career as a data scientist before founding a cybersecurity company, which was later acquired by CoinList. Amir is also an active angel investor in the Bay Area and is currently working on his second venture. We discussed his perspectives on security and AI, as well as the acquisition process.
